Rotherham’s new signings Matt Palmer and Caolan Lavery both hope to make their debuts in the home game against AFC Wimbledon.
Midfielder Palmer, a permanent signing from Burton, and striker Lavery, on loan from Sheffield United until the end of the season, are in contention.
Boss Paul Warne has no new injury problems following the home win against Bradford last time out when striker Michael Smith made his first start.
The Millers, unbeaten in nine matches, are still without Darren Potter (Achilles) and Jamie Proctor (knee).
AFC Wimbledon could hand January signing Joe Pigott his first start for the club.
Pigott has made two substitute appearances since joining from Maidstone and has registered a goal and an assist in that time.
Will Nightingale is stepping up his rehabilitation following a knee injury and Dean Parrett is regaining fitness after a groin operation.
Both, however, are not yet ready for competitive action.
