Vitesse keep tabs on Eredivisie leaders

Vitesse Arnhem closed the gap on the Eredivisie’s top four to two points with a 2-0 victory over Groningen.
Chelsea loanees Matt Miazga and Mason Mount struck in the first half as Henk Fraser’s side remained sixth.
Vitesse have now only lost once in their last seven league games as they try to keep in touch with the European places.
Defender Miagza opened the scoring for the host after six minutes when he headed in Lassana Faye’s cross.
Mount made it 2-0 after 32 minutes and while Guram Kashia went close in the second half the hosts had to settle for their first-half haul.
