Morton eased past their Ladbrokes Championship rivals Dumbarton to reach the quarter-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup following a 3-0 victory at Cappielow.
On-loan Aberdeen winger Frank Ross put the hosts ahead after 12 minutes with a wonderful solo effort.
Ross nutmegged Aidan Wilson before playing a neat one-two with Gary Oliver and fired in at the near post for his first goal for the club.
Oliver went close on the stroke of half-time but was denied by a fine save from Scott Gallacher.
However, the Ton doubled their advantage four minutes after the restart when Australian defender Jack Iredale stabbed in from close range.
Substitute Bob McHugh wrapped up the convincing win 10 minutes from time after the striker ghosted in at the near post to power home a first-time volley.
