Walsall top scorer Erhun Oztumer is expected to return for the Saddlers’ home clash with Doncaster.
The 13-goal midfielder was dropped to the bench for Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Blackpool as Julien Ngoy was handed his first start.
On-loan Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik is still waiting for his debut after joining last month.
Manager Jon Whitney has no fresh injury concerns, with Florent Cuvelier fit after a knee issue.
Doncaster boss Darren Ferguson also has no new injury or suspension worries following Saturday’s home draw against Charlton.
Defender Mathieu Baudry has missed the last three games due to a hamstring injury, but is hoping to return in next weekend’s home game against Fleetwood.
Alex Kiwomya (illness) and Luke McCullough (knee) both got more minutes off the bench against Charlton after long-term absences.
Andy Butler, Joe Wright and Andy Williams remain sidelined as Rovers chase their first league win in eight matches.
