Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday night’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Hull.
Striker Rudy Gestede played 84 minutes of Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Cardiff despite missing a couple of days’ training with a back problem, and he came through unscathed.
On-loan Everton midfielder Mo Besic made his debut for the club in south Wales, as did Manchester City youngster Jack Harrison as a substitute, and both will hope for further involvement.
Pulis’ only absentee is full-back Fabio da Silva, who continues to work his way back from a thigh problem.
Hull midfielder Sebastian Larsson will sit out once again as he completes a two-match ban.
The Sweden international missed Friday night’s 4-0 FA Cup fifth round defeat at Chelsea after reaching 10 bookings for the season in the 2-0 league win at Nottingham Forest the previous weekend.
On-loan Chelsea trio Michael Hector, Ola Aina and Fikayo Tomori are available after being ineligible to face their parent club, but Markus Henriksen (ankle), Ondrej Mazuch (hamstring), Moses Odubajo and James Weir (both knee) are still out.
Striker Abel Hernandez played 55 minutes for the club’s under-23s on Monday afternoon after six months out with a ruptured Achilles tendon, although he is still working his way back to match fitness.
