Russell McLean’s hat-trick not enough for Peterhead as they are held by Annan

Russell McLean’s hat-trick was not enough for Peterhead as they twice blew a two-goal lead in a dramatic 3-3 draw away to Annan Athletic.
McLean opened the scoring after half an hour and added a second five minutes later to put the visitors seemingly on course for victory.
There was late drama to come, though, with a flurry of goals. Blair Henderson headed in for the hosts in the 65th minute, only for McLean to complete his hat-trick from the spot seven minutes later after being fouled by Peter Watson.
Two minutes later, Henderson’s second gave Annan renewed hope and Watson made amends for giving away the spot-kick by heading home with six minutes left.
