David Oldfield to take charge of Peterborough for Walsall clash

David Oldfield will take charge of Peterborough when Walsall visit the ABAX Stadium in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday.
Oldfield is interim manager after the club sacked Grant McCann on Monday, with Posh six points adrift of the play-off places after failing to win any of their last seven matches.
It remains to be seen whether Oldfield will make changes following Saturday’s 1-1 home draw with Wimbledon – a fourth successive draw for Peterborough.
Ryan Tafazolli and Anthony Grant were withdrawn at half-time against the Dons but both substitutions were tactical switches made by McCann, rather than changes made due to injuries. Alex Penny (shoulder) and Gwion Edwards (ankle) remain out.
Julien Ngoy and Maziar Kouhyar could come into contention for starting places for Walsall.
Saddlers boss Jon Whitney was singing the praises of both players after they impressed from the bench during the home defeat to Blackburn at the weekend.
Amadou Bakayoko missed the 2-1 loss to Rovers through illness and the striker will be assessed.
Whitney’s team will be looking for their first away win in the league since November 25.
