Wycombe Wanderers vs Cambridge United - Nathan McGinley in contention for Wycombe
Posted Friday, March 09, 2018 by PA
Wycombe should have Nathan McGinley available for the visit of Cambridge.
The on-loan Middlesbrough defender missed last week’s defeat to Coventry with an ankle injury but the enforced weather break has given him more time to recover.
Sam Saunders, Anthony Stewart, Michael Harriman and Scott Kashket remain out.
The Chairboys will be hoping to bounce back from successive defeats, which has seen them drop out of the automatic promotion places.
Cambridge interim boss Joe Dunne has declared his side’s treatment room empty.
Piero Mingoia (groin) and Barry Corr have returned to training on grass, though this game should come too soon for them.
George Maris and Jabo Ibehre are both pushing for starts after they came off the bench in last week’s 1-1 draw with Luton having recovered from a bout of concussion.
The U’s have lost just one of their last six Sky Bet League Two games but still sit eight points off the play-offs.
