Colchester will hand late fitness tests to Ryan Jackson and Brandon Comley prior to their clash with Yeovil.
The pair both featured in last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Yeovil but may have to come out of the starting 11 if they cannot overcome ankle issues.
U’s boss John McGreal made five changes last weekend and must decide whether to stick with those who came in.
Striker Brennan Dickenson (knee) completed all 90 minutes in his first start since April.
Francois Zoko is a concern for Yeovil having come off against Exeter on Tuesday with a knock.
Goalkeeper Stuart Nelson, 36, is likely to be retained having impressed on his debut in place of Jonny Maddison.
Glovers boss Darren Way has admitted Rhys Browne could come in for Otis Khan on the wing.
James Bailey and Oscar Gobern are back training and could return soon but Artur Krysiak, Daniel Alfei, Nathan Smith and Jake Gray remain absent.
