Port Vale boss Neil Aspin is expected to choose from an unchanged squad for the home game against Exeter.
Aspin has reported no new injury concerns after his side fought back from 2-0 down to earn a point at Stevenage at the weekend.
Joe Davis recovered from a groin strain to play the full 90 minutes and fellow defender Kyle Howkins returned to the bench as an unused substitute after a knee injury.
On-loan Wolves forward Donovan Wilson, who stepped off the bench to score, and James Gibbons are pushing for starting places after impressing as substitutes on Saturday.
Exeter are likely to be without captain Jordan Moore-Taylor again as he is still struggling with a knee injury.
Fellow defender Luke Croll was back in the squad for the weekend defeat at Morecambe for the first time since October due to a groin injury and will be hoping to feature.
Jordan Tillson and Matt Jay are pushing for recalls to the starting line-up, but defender Troy Archibald-Henville could be rested due to his troublesome knee.
Winger Lee Holmes (ankle) will be assessed after missing the last two matches.
