Ibrahimovic has not been shy in coming forward since hitting the US. He paid for a full-page advert in the LA Times to hail his arrival on a two-year deal with Galaxy.

Continuing the theme, LA Galaxy's twitter account posted pictures of the former Paris Saint-Germain,

AC Milan, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus, Ajax and Malmo hero.

Through it all Ibrahimovic claims Jose Mourinho was the best boss he played under.

He told ESPN FC: "I like Mourinho. He is the Special One.

"He likes to win. Wherever he went he won. He made me feel comfortable. He gave me a lot of responsibility.

"He said to me the only problem he had with me was when could he rest me."

Just two minutes after taking the pitch as a 71st minute sub on his Galaxy debut, Zlatan helped teammate Chris Pontius bring the game to 3-2.

Five minutes later he struck a scorcher of a volley from 38 yards out for the equaliser and headed the winner in stoppage time.
