Lee Martin still suspended for Gillingham’s home clash with Rotherham

Lee Martin serves the final game of his four-match ban when Gillingham host Rotherham in League One.

Martin saw red in the Gills’ game against Southend on Easter Monday.

Defender Alex Lacey is expected to be fit after a knock ruled him out of the 1-1 draw at Oldham on Saturday, while Rhys Murphy and Franck Moussa will be assessed as they come back from injuries.

Billy Bingham is set to miss the remainder of the season after picking up a thigh strain.

Joe Newell should come back into contention for Rotherham.

The influential midfielder missed Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Wigan with a quad injury but has recovered for the trip to Kent.

Richie Towell came off at the DW Stadium with a tight back and will be monitored, with boss Paul Warne unlikely to risk the Irishman if there is any danger of him aggravating the injury.

Joe Mattock (hamstring) will be given more time to recover, while Darren Potter and Jamie Proctor are both out.
