Chelsea star Eden Hazard is being eyed by Real Madrid
That’s according to Sky Sports pundit Alan McInally.
The Belgian has been in stunning form so far this season, scoring 16 times and providing 13 assists during Chelsea’s disappointing Premier League title defence.
Hazard’s impressive displays have led to speculation surrounding his future, with suggestions that he could look to leave Stamford Bridge.
A number of high-profile clubs have been linked with a move for the 27-year-old, with La Liga giants Real Madrid rumoured to be the frontrunners in the race for his signature.
And McInally believes Chelsea may have a fight on their hands if Hazard decides he wants to move on.
"Hazard has something in his locker a lot of players don’t have,” he said.
"It’s an unbelievably brilliant individual quality he has.
"I think he will be sought after by a few clubs in Europe.
"I think Chelsea would obviously want to keep him but it’s whether Hazard genuinely wants to stay, that might be the bigger question.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is desperate to keep hold of Eden Hazard
"I think if he’s going to move I think he might force the fact he wants to play elsewhere.
"It would be a disaster for Chelsea to lose him.”
Chelsea return to action tomorrow afternoon as they welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge.
