Kovac prepares Bayern Munich clear out

Bayern Munich are prepared for a summer of change as Niko Kovac begins work in his new role having taken over from Jupp Heynckes, and early reports suggest there could be some big changes.

Arturo Vidal, Juan Bernat, Thiago Alacantara and Jerome Boateng are all up for sale, with the Chilean the most urgent departure as his existing contract will expire next summer.

The news comes from Bild, who say that the Croatian coach will also allow the unhappy Spanish duo of Bernat and Thiago to depart despite being contracted.

Boateng will face a decision on his future when he meets with Kovac after the conclusion of the World Cup in July.
