Atletico Madrid show off hat-trick of deals with Griezmann, Lemar and Lucas photo

In the Russian town of Istra, some 50 kilometres outside of Moscow, Atletico Madrid CEO Miguel Angel Gil and sporting director Andrea Berta entered France's World Cup camp to continue the stellar work of his club so far this summer.

Many teams are waiting until the World Cup is over to pick up their marquee signings however Atleti announced last week their capture of Thomas Lemar, amidst the renewals of Bleus colleagues Antoine Griezmann and Lucas Hernandez.

All three gathered for a photo with Gil and Berta at France's Russian base on Sunday and it defines the long-term vision that Diego Simeone and Los Colchoneros continue to carry out.

Signed up to 2024 is Hernandez, who began his country's World Cup campaign at left-back on Saturday, whereas Griezmann and Lemar are tied down to 2023.

While out in Istra, the former Monaco man put pen to paper on his Atletico contract but he is yet to have his medical or for the two clubs' agreement to be formalised.

Add in the capture of young midfielder Rodri and the contract extensions for both Thomas Partey and Jose Gimenez, and Atleti fans can be very pleased with their club's work thus far.
