Juventus appear close to signing Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Italian fans are eager to welcome the Portuguese superstar to Serie A.
While in Turin people are getting prepared for the much-anticipated arrival of the 33-year-old, even supporters of the Old Lady's rivals would be glad to receive him.
"I support Torino, and I don't like Juventus, but Cristiano Ronaldo is the best in the world and his signing would be a huge quality upgrade for all Italian football," a waiter in Turin told MARCA.
"We haven't talked about anything else for days, it would be incredible."
An AC Milan fan has recognised the impact of such a move, as: "it would be very positive for the Serie A because it could provide Italy with a lot of money."
Juventus fans, on their part, can't hide their enthusiasm, waiting for Ronaldo to be announced as soon as Saturday.
"We don't talk about anything else, as we don't remember something like that happening," says an Old Lady fan.
"It seems like it is the Pope who may be coming to play for us and hopefully the signing will be sealed, as it would be excellent news."
Nine years ago, in 2009, 90,000 fans filled the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to attend Ronaldo's presentation and in Turin they are determined that Juventus will hold a similar event very soon.
