Neymar has tried to improve his image back in Brazil after being crticised for his performances at the World Cup with the surprising use of a Gilette advert.
The publicity, translated from Portuguese as 'A new man each day', lasts a minute and a half during which Neymar makes reference to the freekicks he recieved, his injury and the fact inside him there is still a kid.
"Blocks with a boot to the leg, kneeing in the back, stamping on your feet, you can think that I exaggerate and at time it is true but in reality suffer on the pitch, right now you don't know what I suffered away from it," said Neymar.
"When I go without giving interviews it is not just because I want to speak when we win it is because I haven't learned yet how to be disappointed.
"When I appear spoilt it is not the case but the fact that I have not yet dealt with being frustrated and inside of me there is still a child. Sometimes he loves everyone and sometimes everyone irritates him."
On his diving in Russia he continued: "you can think that I fall too much but the truth is that I collapse and this is a lot worse than any stamp on an operated toe.
"I have taken a long time to accept the criticism and become another man but I am here with a clean face and an open heart.
"You can continue to throw stones or you can throw them away and help me to stay up because when I am standing my friends, Brazil together is standing with me."
