Real Madrid stars troll David De Gea calling him ‘Loris Karius’

Real Madrid & Liverpool's Loris Karius

Real Madrid closed out the 2017-18 season in historic fashion.

Los Blancos beat Liverpool 3-1 in the Champions League final. That meant Madrid have now won the most prestigious prize in club football three years in a row.

Loris Karius' life changed in the Champions League final. Unfortunately for the German goalie, Karius made two epic errors as Liverpool lost.

Karius' Liverpool career now seems to be over as Alisson has joined the Reds from Roma.

Real Madrid stars troll David De Gea

This week in the International Champions Cup, Man United beat Real Madrid 2-1.

David De Gea made his return for Man United in the match after the goalie played at the 2018 World Cup.

The match brought De Gea face to face with many of his international buddies. And during the behind the scenes action, the Man United keeper was trolled by Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio.

The Real Madrid stars were filmed calling De Gea "Karius! Karius!"

David De Gea's World Cup mistake

It's worth noting that David De Gea didn't enjoy the best summer too.

While he may not have made mistakes on the level of Liverpool's Karius, De Gea was criticised for his World Cup performances.

The Man United keeper only made one save in the tournament, while he let in six goals in four matches.

De Gea's error against Portugal, when he allowed Cristiano Ronaldo's shot to slip through his fingers, remains the go-to memory to bash the Man United star with.

Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when he got on the end of Matteo Darmian's cross to fire home.

Sanchez turned creator nine minutes later, as Alexis headed a pass from Juan Mata into the path of Ander Herrera. The Spaniard made no mistake in front of goal.

Real Madrid halved the deficit in first-half stoppage time when French forward Karim Benzema converted a cross from Theo Hernandez.

David De Gea marked his return to the Man United side with a couple of smart second half saves.
