Terell Thomas racing to be fit for Wimbledon debut

AFC Wimbledon will check on defender Terell Thomas ahead of the Sky Bet League One match against Coventry.
Thomas suffered a dead leg during training in the week, but could come back into contention for a debut having joined in the summer from Wigan.
Otherwise, manager Neal Ardley has no fresh injury worries from the opening-day win over Fleetwood, which saw Tom King, Tennai Watson, Ben Purrington and Mitch Pinnock all make their first starts.
Midfielder Alfie Egan has gone out on loan to National League South side East Thurrock to gain more first-team experience.
Coventry striker Amadou Bakayoko is expected to feature in the squad after signing from Walsall.
Goalkeeper Lee Burge will be assessed after he missed the 2-1 home defeat against Scunthorpe because of a knee problem, so Liam O’Brien is again on stand-by.
Full-backs Dujon Sterling and Brandon Mason both made debuts on the opening day, as did midfielder Abu Ogogo and new striker Jordy Hiwula.
Veteran forward Peter Vincenti has joined Macclesfield after bring released from his contract, while midfielder Bouwe Bosma has re-joined his former side Lewes on loan.
