Luke Thomas could make Coventry debut against Plymouth

New signing Luke Thomas could be involved for Coventry against Sky Bet League One opponents Plymouth at the Ricoh Arena.
City boss Mark Robins has swooped for the winger on loan from Derby, and it is likely that Thomas will be among the substitutes for Argyle’s visit.
The Sky Blues have not won so far this season, being beaten at home by Scunthorpe then drawing against AFC Wimbledon, before suffering a Carabao Cup defeat at Oxford’s hands.
And Robins’ team have scored just one goal across those three games, suggesting that he will carefully consider his attacking options, with a likely choice to be made between Amadou Bakayoko and Max Biamou.
Plymouth manager Derek Adams might not deviate far from the side that gained an impressive Carabao Cup win against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Tuesday.
He could be tempted to retain the centre-back pairing of Niall Canavan, who made an impressive debut against City, and Scott Wootton, or recall Ryan Edwards.
And it remains to be seen whether or not forward Ruben Lameiras will face his former club.
Lameiras was substituted in both of Plymouth’s league games so far, and Adams could decide to retain Joe Grant following his performance in midweek.
