Man City vs Huddersfield Town - Silva could return for Man City with Bruyne injured
Posted Friday, August 17, 2018 by PA
Champions Manchester City are without midfielder Kevin De Bruyne for the visit of Huddersfield in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Belgium international has been sidelined for three months with a knee injury but fellow playmaker David Silva could return after a leg problem.
Brazil defender Danilo is still sidelined with the ankle injury that curtailed his involvement in the World Cup.
Huddersfield defender Mathias Jorgensen will miss out and midfielder Jonathan Hogg is doubtful.
Denmark centre-half Jorgensen will be sidelined for up to seven days after sustaining a muscle strain in training this week, while Hogg has a slight hip complaint and will be assessed.
Summer signing Erik Durm and midfielder Danny Williams are still out and head coach David Wagner must decide whether to retain Ben Hamer in goal or recall Jonas Lossl.
