Manchester City 'Watch' Is Worst Thing Since Half And Half Scarves

Poor half and half scarves. No matter what they do, no matter how many people buy them they will always be the least popular this going. That's until one company decided to charge Manchester City fans £80 to get news of their club directly to their wrist.

The half and half scarf is the most ridiculed thing in football. The problem with them is that they're really only targeted at football tourists, because there's no other reason to be purchasing one, and Premier League fans hate football tourists coming and buying up tickets and raising prices.

I saw someone today ask what they do with the unsold scarves considering they have dates on them so they can't just be repackaged for next season, I'm now imagining a landfill somewhere with just these footballing monstrosities and now they're a threat to the earth so that's why they're actually evil.

Anyway half and half scarves will soon no longer have a reason to worry about being lambasted so much as the 'Fantom' will be the piece of footballing merchandise that everyone hates.

The Fantom is basically an iWatch that doesn't do anything other than send you Manchester City information, including a countdown to kick off and it'll cost you £80!

My favourite thing about this promo video is people saying how good not having to take your phone out of your pocket is, heaven forbid!

Once City fan can be heard calling it 'the best thing I've ever seen from Manchester City,' during the promo video and this is the team that broke all sorts of records in winning the Premier League just last season and who won the league in 2012 with Sergio Aguero's last minute goal.

Look you spend your hard earned money however you like but if you think I'm not going to judge you for spending £80 to get free news alerts to your wrist then you're sadly mistaken.

A scarf costs a tenner and at least keeps your neck warm!
