CHELSEA star Eden Hazard is not necessarily destined to join Real Madrid.

That is the opinion of former Liverpool and England midfielder Danny Murphy, who believes the winger is loving life in London.

Hazard has forged a reputation as one of the globe's top attacking talents during his six-year spell at Chelsea.

And his performances under a series of managers at Stamford Bridge have seen admiring glances cast his way on a frequent basis.

Real have been heavily linked with a move for Hazard this summer having lost talismanic forward Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

Murphy isn't convinced the 27-year-old swapping west London for Madrid, with a transfer possible until August 31, is a sure-fire thing though.

"I don't think it's inevitable that Hazard will end up at Real Madrid," Murphy told bwin.

"I think he's very comfortable in London and he has handled the situation very professionally this summer.

"Hazard always speaks highly of Chelsea and I think he has the potential to get even better, to score more goals and to provide more assists.

"He is Chelsea's world-class player in an attacking sense and the club will need him firing if they're to get back into the top four this season."

Real are one of few clubs in with a realistic shout of luring Hazard away from Chelsea.

And Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre has admitted as much while revealing he'd love to sign the former Lille ace.

"Kylian Mbappe and Eden Hazard!" said Favre, when asked who he would buy of money was no object.

"But this is just fun.

"Mbappe is unbelievable.

"He is 19 and so mature, so clever.

"He makes the difference with a lot of intelligence.

"He can play for the collective, is fast.

"And if Eden Hazard has the ball - ooh la la - it's a pleasure to watch him."

Hazard started Chelsea's first two games of the new Premier League campaign against Huddersfield and Arsenal on the bench.

Maurizio Sarri says it is a matter of easing the wideman and Mateo Kovacic back into action following their post-World Cup breaks.

"I am really very happy," said Sarri, when asked specifically about Kovacic following the 3-2 win over Arsenal.

"But in my opinion in this moment Kovacic, and Hazard, are not able to play for 90 minutes.

"So I thought that it was better 25-30 minutes when the intensity of the game is going down, and Hazard has done two assists in two matches.

"So I am very happy, also because I think that Kovacic can improve a lot here."
