Eriksen has been on the radar of Real Madrid and Barcelona all summer – but the French giants have emerged as the most likely bidders for his services.
PSG will switch their attentions to Eriksen if they fail with a £81m offer for Barca’s Ivan Rakitic, who has a £107m buy-out clause in his contract.
The Parisian side are keen to make at least one more big signing before the European transfer window closes on Friday.

Eriksen has been locked in talks with Tottenham over an extension to his contract, which has two years left.
But they are in stalemate as he wants parity with the club’s highest earner, Harry Kane.

A gaping hole would be left in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up if he fled for France.

Spurs left-back Danny Rose could also be lured to the French champions, but he isn’t their first choice.
Atletico Madrid’s Filipe Luis is Thomas Tuchel’s preferred choice, but if that falls through then a one-year loan deal for Rose is likely.
Pochettino’s squad could be even more depleted with Fenerbache interested in Moussa Sissoko, who has flopped since signing for £30m in 2016.
