German has always idolised the Frenchman

Zinedine Zidane had always been an idol for Mesut Ozil to the point where the German wore football shirts with the name and number of the Frenchman on his back.
It's therefore understandable why he was nervous when their paths crossed at Real Madrid during the time when Jose Mourinho was coach.
"I was really nervous," he said to the Arsenal official website, ahead of the Legends meeting on Saturday.
"I had dreamed of playing at Real Madrid precisely because my idol, Zinedine Zidane, played for them.
"My first day there with Mourinho and all my teammates... Of course, when you are new in the dressing room you are a little quiet, but I was especially nervous when I met Zidane, it was the biggest moment for me.
"I had many things in my head and I was thinking about the time when I was young with my friends and I bought his shirt and played like him on the pitch where I grew up.
"My hands were sweating but in reality he was really relaxed and I enjoyed my first meeting with him."
