Manchester City vs Fulham - Sterling fit for City’s clash with Fulham after England withdrawal
Posted Saturday, September 15, 2018 by PA
Forward Raheem Sterling is fit for Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Fulham on Saturday after recovering from a back injury.
Sterling withdrew from the England squad for last week’s matches against Spain and Switzerland with the problem.
City are still without long-term absentees Kevin De Bruyne (knee) and Claudio Bravo (Achilles) and full-back Danilo has been troubled by an ankle problem since the summer. It remains to be seen if winger Leroy Sane has done enough to earn a recall.
Fulham must again do without captain Tom Cairney.
The midfielder continues his recovery from a foot injury suffered against Burnley before the international break.
Midfielder Neeskens Kebano (ankle) and defender Tim Ream (thigh) are also not yet available for Cottagers boss Slavisa Jokanovic.
