Wigan Athletic vs Hull City - Darron Gibson eyeing start as Wigan host Hull

Wigan’s Darron Gibson could make his first start since the opening day of the season in the home game against Hull.
Gibson returned to the bench in the weekend defeat at Brentford after recovering from a groin injury sustained on his debut for the club.
The former Manchester United and Sunderland midfielder is on standby as the Latics are waiting to learn whether their appeal against Sam Morsy’s dismissal on Saturday has been successful.
Defender Dan Burn (foot) and forward Gavin Massey (hamstring) are both still out.
Hull could be without Dan Batty and Stephen Kingsley, who both sustained injury in the weekend win against Ipswich.
Batty was forced off with a knee problem and Kingsley is struggling with a rib injury. Both players are doubtful.
United States defender Eric Lichaj is pushing for a recall following his late return from international duty, while strikers Chris Martin and Nouha Dicko are also in contention.
Defender Ondrej Mazuch is edging closer to a return to action after a long-term knee injury.
