Stoke City vs Blackburn Rovers - Erik Pieters set to hand Stoke a fitness boost

Stoke boss Gary Rowett is set to have the same group of players to choose from for Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Blackburn at the bet365 Stadium as he did last time out.
Erik Pieters felt a twinge in his hamstring during Tuesday’s 1-0 home win over Swansea but it is expected that he will be available.
James McClean and Sam Clucas are continuing their recoveries from a broken arm and knee surgery respectively.
The Potters, 17th in the table, will be looking for a fourth successive home victory in all competitions.
Blackburn captain Charlie Mulgrew is poised to return to action after missing the 0-0 draw at Derby on Tuesday because of illness.
Jacob Davenport, yet to make his competitive debut for the club having picked up a hip problem in pre-season, is nearing first-team involvement but it looks unlikely that will come this weekend.
Jack Rodwell continued to build up his match fitness on Monday as he played for the Under-23s against Arsenal.
Dominic Samuel and Ben Gladwin (both knee) are still sidelined.
