Nemanja Matic Donates €70,000 For Four Year-Old's Cancer Treatment

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has donated 70,000 euros so that four-year old Dusan Todorovic could travel to Barcelona for crucial treatment that could save his life.

Dusan suffers from neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer. There's been a huge campaign to get him across to treatment for therapy in an attempt to cure the cancer and because of Matic's generous gesture, the mission has been achieved.

The Manchester United midfielder had remained anonymous but according to B92, Dusan's father, Aleksandar Todorovic has disclosed the donation made by Matic.

It's an incredible selfless act from Matic and one that could change Dusan's life if it bears fruit. The kid is said to be in Barcelona now and hoping that his condition improves.

Matic's gesture isn't an isolated one as back in March 2016 has made himself a hero in his homeland of Serbia by paying off all of the debts in the village he grew up in.

Matic hails from the village of Vrelo in the western part of the country, which has a population of just over 1,600 people.

According to The Mirror, the former Benfica man has been taking care of the tabs and debts at the local supermarkets and has donated money for repairs to be made at the elementary school which he attended as a child.
