Wrexham continue form with win over Havant

Wrexham maintained their strong early-season form as they edged out struggling Havant & Waterlooville 1-0.
Rekeil Pyke’s goal after half an hour proved the difference, with the striker breaking into the area and beating three defenders before curling his shot beyond the reach of Ben Dudzinski.
It was just reward for a Wrexham side who twice hit the crossbar through Jordan Maguire-Drew in the opening 10 minutes, with Dudzinski appearing to get a touch on both efforts.
The goalkeeper denied Pyke a second just before half-time and then again when he sent a powerful shot goalwards in the 69th minute, but though Havant threw everything forward in the final moments Pyke had already done enough to take three points for the hosts.
