Jose Mourinho says he would be keen on a reunion with Eden Hazard

Jose Mourinho admits he would "love" Eden Hazard to join Manchester United, saying the forward has the ability to dictate the title race.

Hazard, while away with Belgium, revealed his regret at how his spell with Mourinho at Chelsea ended and said he would love to work with his former boss once again.

The pair will be reunited on Saturday when United take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, live on Sky Sports, but Mourinho is not optimistic they will work together again while he remains at Old Trafford.

"I would love to have him in Manchester United but I don't think Chelsea will be selling to Manchester United so it's not a problem," said Mourinho ahead of Saturday's trip to Chelsea, live on Sky Sports.

"History says that when Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League, Chelsea is the champion. It happened with me, it happened with Antonio [Conte].

"Chelsea is top of the league now because he is the kind of player that can make a huge difference.

"Chelsea is led by experience and intelligent people in football. I think they would never sell Eden to Manchester United so it's not a problem."

"I think he is just a nice kid. We had a good relationship, we were champions together. he was for the first time best player in the Premier League with me, so I think the feelings are good.

"When the feelings are good you say nice things, when they are not good you don't say so much nice things."

Chelsea head into Saturday's game level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table after going unbeaten in their opening eight games.

Asked about his former side's start to the season, Mourinho added: "The results speak for themselves, obviously they are not playing Champions League and that puts them just on the Premier League.

"In the Premier League the results speak for themselves - very good results and top of the league."
