Barnsley forward Cauley Woodrow could feature in the FA Cup first-round tie against Notts County.
The on-loan Fulham striker made his first start in the midweek Checkatrade Trophy fixture against Everton following his return to fitness after a hamstring problem, so could come into contention.
The Tykes have no fresh injury concerns for the cup tie against Sky Bet League Two County.
Goalkeeper Jack Walton has stepped up his rehabilitation, while midfielder Kenny Dougall is recovering from an ankle problem.
Notts County are hopeful striker Kane Hemmings could be back in action for the cup tie.
Hemmings missed Tuesday night’s league draw against Oldham with a reported slight hamstring worry.
Forward Jon Stead has also been sidelined by a leg injury, so faces a late fitness test.
Defender Elliott Hewitt must serve a one-match suspension after collecting a fifth caution in midweek.
