McCann keeps his cards close to his chest ahead of FA Cup first round

Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Gary McCann has several selection dilemmas for his side’s home FA Cup tie against Oldham.
The Beavers have reached the first round proper for the first time in 11 years and McCann was giving little else away.
Jack Connors, signed on loan from Dover, could have played his way into contention by scoring both the Beavers’ goals on his home debut in the recent 4-2 defeat to Oxford City.
Leading scorer Chris Dickson will be hoping to add to his 12-goal tally for the season after notching a late winner in the fourth qualifying round against Eastleigh.
Oldham pair Sam Surridge and Zeus de la Paz are unlikely to feature due to respective hamstring injuries.
Forward Surridge and goalkeeper De la Paz have both missed the last six matches.
Defender Andy Taylor returned to action in the goalless midweek draw at Notts County and is expected to retain his place.
Chris O’Grady and Jose Baxter are among those pushing for recalls to the starting line-up for the tie, scheduled to be screened live on BT Sport.
