Tyler is the man on the mic for today's Manchester derby.

He's the lead commentator on Sky Sports, with ex-Manchester United man Gary Neville joining him on the gantry.

And it appears former Oasis frontman Gallagher isn't a fan.

In a tweet posted seconds after kick-off at the Etihad, he wrote on Twitter: "Martin Tyler is a c*** just saying as you were LG x"

Gallagher will have had a smile on his face early in the contest with Man City taking the lead after just 10 minutes at the Etihad.

Bernardo Silva's effort just wide inside the opening 90 seconds was a warning for United, who were under the cosh throughout the opening stages.
The pressure brought the opening goal in just the 12th minute. David Silva was heavily involved in the build-up, with the ball played to Raheem Sterling on the left.

The forward floated a lovely cross to the far post, where Bernardo Silva cut across for his namesake to fire home.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was ruled out of the derby clash at Manchester City through injury.

The 25-year-old trained away from the main group on Friday with what was described as "a minor injury" but has been unable to recover in time to play at a ground where he netted twice in a 3-2 win for United in April.

Romelu Lukaku returned to the United squad after missing two matches with a hamstring issue but only made the bench, where he was joined by Alexis Sanchez.

The forward was replaced by Marcus Rashford in the starting line-up, with Marouane Fellaini coming in for Pogba after impressing off the bench in the midweek comeback win at Juventus.

Sergio Aguero replaced Gabriel Jesus despite the Brazilian's hat-trick against Shakhtar Donetsk, while Pep Guardiola preferred Riyad Mahrez to Leroy Sane.

Man City: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Mendy, Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho, Silva, Mahrez, Aguero, Sterling.

Subs: Kompany, Gundogan, Delph, Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Foden, Muric.

Man Utd: de Gea, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, Ander Herrera, Matic, Fellaini, Lingard, Rashford, Martial.

Subs: Jones, Sanchez, Mata, Lukaku, Fred, Romero, Darmian.
