Grimsby will be without Danny Collins for the visit of Tranmere on Tuesday night.
The 38-year-old was dismissed four minutes from time as the Mariners twice came from a goal down to draw 2-2 at Northampton.
The centre-half was sent off for a professional foul and after reviewing the video evidence, Grimsby manager Michael Jolley decided not to appeal against the one-match ban.
Defenders Reece Hall-Johnson, Akin Famewo and Elliott Whitehouse remain sidelined through injury.
Tranmere will check on the fitness of two players who returned from injury in their 1-1 draw with Oldham.
Ollie Banks and James Norwood came through fitness tests prior to Saturday’s fixture and could start their second game in four days.
Cole Stockton could get more playing time after coming off the bench for the closing stages of Saturday’s draw.
Liam Ridehalgh has also returned from injury recently and could get more minutes.
