Ryan Edwards could return for Plymouth when they host struggling Bradford.
The centre-half has recovered from a chest infection and got 75 minutes under his belt for the reserves in midweek.
Captain Gary Sawyer is ready to return to training after recovering from a broken foot.
Defender Scott Wootton (thigh) and midfielder Conor Grant (calf) are still sidelined.
Bottom-club Bradford will again be without Nathaniel Knight-Percival.
The defender serves out the final of his three-game suspension following a red card against Oxford.
Midfielder Hope Akpan is set to return to the squad after missing the past four matches with a shoulder problem.
Manager David Hopkin otherwise reported no fresh injury problems following the FA Cup second-round draw against Peterborough.
