Injury doubt over Southend duo

Southend have doubts over defender Michael Turner and forward Harry Bunn for the Sky Bet League One match against Accrington.
The duo picked up unspecified injuries during the defeat at Portsmouth last weekend to add to the selection worries for Shrimpers boss Chris Powell.
Defenders Jason Demetriou (knee), Harry Kyprianou (Achilles), centre-back Harry Lennon (fractured leg) and goalkeeper Ted Smith (leg muscle) all continue their respective rehabilitation.
Summer signing Sam Barratt is out for the season with a serious knee injury, along with left-back Ben Coker, midfielder Lewis Gard and forward Tom Hopper, who has a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.
Accrington will return to action after last weekend’s game against Sunderland at the Wham Stadium was abandoned in the 75th minute because of heavy rain.
Forward Connor Hall was sent on for the second half and scored a goal before the game was called off, so could be in contention to start as Stanley aim to avoid a fourth straight league defeat.
Striker Andy Mangan and defender Harvey Rodgers and are expected to be available again following their injury lay-offs.
Defender Zehn Mohammed has joined Vanarama National League North club Southport on a month’s loan.
