Money misses out on win as Havant take a point on the road at Hartlepool

Richard Money’s first home game in charge of Hartlepool ended in a 1-1 draw against Havant & Waterlooville.
The visitors opened the scoring from their first noteworthy chance in the 12th minute as Tyler Frost’s low shot beat goalkeeper Scott Loach and went in off a post.
Pools were level six minutes later when Liam Noble’s shot deflected into the bottom corner and the home side went on to enjoy a spell of pressure as Luke James drilled an effort narrowly wide and Ryan Donaldson cleared the crossbar.
Havant forward Alfie Rutherford left the field on a stretcher early in the second half, while clear-cut chances were few and far between.
Returning Hartlepool defender Andrew Davies volleyed well wide and headed straight at goalkeeper Ben Dudzinski, while a superb cross from Rory Williams somehow evaded two Havant strikers.
Loach denied Nicke Kabamba late on as the points were shared.
