Livermore suspended for West Brom’s Wigan clash

Jake Livermore will miss West Brom’s FA Cup tie against Wigan at The Hawthorns.
The midfielder is suspended for the third-round tie, and all of Albion’s Championship campaign this month, as he must serve a four-match ban following his red card on New Year’s Day.
Baggies boss Darren Moore is likely to make a few changes to his side, with the likes of Boaz Myhill, Tyrone Mears, Rekeem Harper, Sam Field and Bakary Sako among those players who could get a rare start.
Dwight Gayle is not expected to be involved as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Gavin Massey will miss the trip after pulling up in the second half of Wigan’s New Year’s Day defeat to Sheffield United.
The winger was making just his third start after a lengthy lay-off but suffered a recurrence of his hamstring troubles, although it is thought he will be out for weeks rather than months.
Striker Nick Powell (hamstring) and midfielder Michael Jacobs (hamstring) are back in training but this weekend should be too soon for the pair.
Forward Jamie Walker is back with Latics after being recalled from his loan spell at Peterborough but is cup-tied.
