Manchester City took a huge step towards retaining the Premier League title by inflicting Liverpool's first league defeat of the season.

The sell-out City crowd at the home of the champions produced an impressive noise following the final whistle.

The celebrations could be heard from well outside the stadium with an onlooker recording the reaction.
