Darren Ferguson will bid to end Peterborough’s three-match winless run in the first home game of his third spell as boss when Plymouth visit.
Defender Ryan Tafazolli completes a three-match ban following his red card against Luton.
Joe Ward came off the substitutes’ bench to net a stoppage-time equaliser at Bristol Rovers and could be promoted to the starting line-up. So too could Marcus Maddison.
Forward Jason Cummings’ loan from Nottingham Forest is over.
Defender Lloyd Jones is set to come into contention for Plymouth.
Jones, who left Argyle’s youth team aged 15 to join Liverpool, has signed on loan from Luton for the rest of the season and could make his debut.
Conor Grant (calf), Jamie Ness (calf) and Joel Grant (hip) are still unavailable for selection.
Wycombe ended Argyle’s four-match winning run last time out.
