Cheltenham will check on the fitness of Luke Varney ahead of their home game against Cambridge.
The experienced striker is nursing a slight hamstring problem following the defeat at Grimsby. Varney underwent a scan on Monday morning, the results of which will determine his involvement on Tuesday night.
Midfielder Jordan Tillson is also a doubt after sustaining a groin injury at Blundell Park.
Will Boyle made his return from injury as a substitute against the Mariners on Saturday and he could come into contention for a starting place. However, fellow defender Sean Long (ankle) and forwards Alex Addai (hamstring) and Tyrone Barnett (hamstring) remain out.
Cambridge boss Colin Calderwood has hinted he may freshen up his team at Whaddon Road.
Alex Jones, Hayden Coulson and Reggie Lambe were all introduced in a triple substitution by Calderwood against Tranmere on Saturday and the trio could be pushing for starting places.
The U’s came through that goalless home draw with no new injury issues. David Forde (shoulder) is still out so Dimitar Mitov will continue in goal for a fifth game in a row.
Liam O’Neil is at least a fortnight away from a return because of a hip injury that has sidelined him since New Year’s Day.
