Ebbsfleet held at home by Hartlepool

Ebbsfleet missed the opportunity to move within two points of the National League play-off places after being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Hartlepool.
Michael Cheek had the best of the early chances for Ebbsfleet in the 21st minute but he pulled his shot just wide of the post.
Corey Whitely thought he had put Ebbsfleet ahead six minutes before the interval but the referee had blown up for an earlier infringement.
Nicke Kabamba had Hartlepool’s best chance with 10 minutes remaining but Nathan Ashmore produced a great save to tip his effort over the bar.
