Sutton frustrated in home draw with Barnet

Sutton dropped points in the race for the National League play-offs with a goalless draw at home to Barnet.
Roarie Deacon carried the home side’s main goal threat in the first half, while Gime Toure was denied by the crossbar.
In a low-key second period, Will Huffer stood firm in the Barnet goal – most notably denying Craig Eastmond after Elliott Johnson’s error gave him a clear run on goal from halfway.
But there was to be no repeat of Sutton’s winner in the last meeting between the sides just 10 days ago as they had to settle for a point that leaves them sixth, a point behind Salford and nine adrift of new leaders Wrexham.
