Edinburgh stay top of League Two with Cowdenbeath win

Edinburgh maintained their charge towards promotion with a 2-0 Ladbrokes League Two win over 10-man Cowdenbeath.
Craig Thomson and Blair Henderson scored first-half goals for the capital club before the Blue Brazil’s hopes of a comeback were dented by David Cox’s 69th-minute dismissal.
Peterhead remain just a point behind Edinburgh after a 1-0 win at Stirling.
Rory McAllister’s 13th goal of the season in the 34th minute guided them to their second consecutive victory.
Annan Athletic extended their unbeaten run to five with a comfortable 4-0 win over rock-bottom Albion.
Peter Watson, Tony Wallace and Steven Swinglehurst were on target in the first half to put them in control before Ross Fergusson wrapped it up late on.
Elgin made it three wins a row with a 3-0 victory at Berwick that saw the struggling hosts slip to a sixth consecutive defeat.
Robin Omar, Chris McLeish and Bryan Cameron found the net in the second half for the visitors.
Euan East’s 85th-minute equaliser for Queen’s Park earned them a 1-1 draw with Clyde after David Goodwillie had opened the scoring four minutes earlier.
