Guardiola to Juventus

Incredible news coming out of Italy tonight, with claims Pep Guardiola could be heading to Juventus in the summer!

Il Giornale journalist Luigi Guelpa - who broke the story of Cristiano Ronaldo heading to Juve last summer - says the Manchester City boss could well be on his way.

"I’ve learned that Pep Guardiola already has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus for the next four years,” he told Radio CRC.

“It's the same person who told me that Ronaldo was going to Juventus."

Pochettino speaks up Spain move

Mauricio Pochettino has spoken up about his desire to manage in Spain again… as Santiago Solari nears the end of his stint as Real Madrid manager.

Real could move for Pochettino if they sack Solari - who has previously worked with the Argentine.

Pochettino told RTVE: "I take [the rumours] as something positive because that means that there is someone who sees our I work and I like it and hopefully one day I can train in Spain with a football that I like and that I win.

“It would be another experience and everyone knows my special relationship with Spain.”

He added: “With Solari, I know him as a former classmate of mine but I can not, of course, talk about it [his job] at this stage, he is my colleague.”

Zidane first choice

Zinedine Zidane is Real Madrid’s first choice to become their new manager.

Express Sport understands Real are open to appointing Jose Mourinho as the new boss once Santiago Solari is sacked after this weekend.

But Marca claim Zidane is wanted back at the Bernabeu as well - and Real would prefer the Frenchman over Mourinho.

Real are already preparing for next season after crashing out of the Champions League this week.

Arsenal target Monchi

Claudio Ranieri joining Roma sees they club’s transfer guru Monchi leave.

And that is good news for Arsenal, who are now tipped to appoint the ex-Sevilla man to their backroom staff.

Monchi is credited for signing a host of star men when he was at Sevilla - although his powers at Roma have been less convincing.

Still, Arsenal fans will likely be delighted if the club can snap up Mr Transfer for themselves.

Ranieri joins Roma

It’s official - the 2016 Premier League title winner Claudio Ranieri is back in a job!

Less than a month after leaving Fulham, the ex-Leicester manager joins Roma until the end of the season.

Ranieri replaces Eusebio di Francesco, who was sacked after the 4-3 Champions League last-16 defeat to Porto on Wednesday.

"At this stage of the campaign, it was important to bring in a Coach who knows the club, understands the environment, can speak the language and is able to motivate the players. Claudio ticks all of those boxes and he’s very excited to take on this challenge,” a Roma statement read.

Sanchez tipped to leave Man Utd

Alexis Sanchez has been tipped to leave Manchester United this summer by season and Gers could win the Scottish Premiership title next season, Andrei Kanchelskis.

“Sanchez is at risk of finishing his career in the same way [Fernando] Torres did at Chelsea. Torres was the main man at Atletico Madrid and Liverpool, but he is now remembered for the tough time he had at Chelsea,” he said.

“Sanchez has clearly shown that he has the capability to play with the best teams in the world, but Man Utd doesn’t suit his style of play and he’s never looked settled into the dressing room since joining the club.

“I’ve previously said that Ole should give him the chance to express himself as a winger, but now looking at his form and how often he’s been used, I think it’s best for Man Utd and Sanchez if he were to move on this summer.”

Man Utd backed to make THREE signings

Manchester United have been backed to sign Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and Crystal Palace ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka by former Red Devils winger Andrei Kanchelskis.

He told Bwin: “I do believe Bale would reignite his career if he came to Man Utd. I believe Bale needs to be loved and that’s exactly what the Utd fans and Solskjaer would do for him.

“If Bale were to leave Real Madrid, Man Utd have a great advantage in the fact that they are one of the only clubs that could afford his wages.

“I think Sancho would be a great signing for Utd. He’s young and English which is the perfect mould for Man Utd.

“It makes you wonder how Man City didn’t see the talent or weren’t willing to give him the chance.

“Man Utd would love to have the chance of taking a City player and making him a Utd great.”

On Wan-Bissaka, he added: “Wan-Bissaka would be an excellent signing.

“Man Utd need someone with experience in England and Wan-Bissaka has proven he is more than capable of handling the Premier League at Crystal Palace.”
