Real Madrid are plotting a £300million world record bid for Neymar

REAL MADRID are preparing a stunning £300million bid for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is planning a summer overhaul at the Bernabeu with the Brazilian top of his shopping list.

The Brazilian is currently sidelined with a foot injury and Spanish outlet Sport reckon the La Liga side have already made contact with Neymar's entourage about a sensational return to Spain.

Chasing Neymar will be seen as an admission of having no plan for life after Cristiano Ronaldo who quit for Juventus last summer.

Perez had hoped Gareth Bale would help fill the huge void left by the Portuguese forward.

But Bale's form has dipped alarmingly as he has fallen down the pecking order behind Vinicius Junior and Lucas Vazquez in the role supporting main striker Karim Benzema.

And with persistent reports that Neymar has been unhappy with his lot in Paris, Perez is ready to test the French champion's resolve with a blockbuster bid.

Real Madrid will hand the forward a whopping £38m-a-year contract making him the highest paid player on the planet.

Madrid have a good relationship with PSG, unlike Barca, who failed to land Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Marco Verratti, Angel Di Maria and more recently Adrien Rabiot

Meanwhile, Neymar could be in hot water with Uefa for his social media outburst in the aftermath of his side's dramatic Champions League defeat to Manchester United.

Marcus Rashford slotted home United's controversial late penalty awarded by VAR after Presnel Kimpembe was adjudged to have handled the ball.

The Brazilian posted a grab of the incident on his Instagram feed along with a lengthy caption.

It read: “This is a disgrace, they put four people that know nothing about football in charge of looking at the replay for VAR.

"There is no penalty. How can it be a handball when it hits his back! Go f*** yourselves!”
