Back in January, United beat Arsenal at the Emirates in the fourth round of the FA Cup thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingered and Anthony Martial.

It was Lingard's goal, though, that rattled Arsenal fans the most.

Straight after he scored, the England international proceeded to 'Moon Walk' across the pitch, angering Gunners supporters.

And last season, Lingard did the same, showing off his moves in front of the travelling away fans after scoring in a separate 3-1 win over Arsenal.

Manchester United had been on a four-game unbeaten run against Arsenal heading into today's clash.

But after the 2-0 home result, which saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men lose their first Premier League game under the Norwegian, Mesut Ozil got his own back.

"Dancefloor huh!?," the German tweeted.

"Superb performance! Brilliant result! Thank you Emirates Stadium! Proud to be a Gunner!"

Following the game, which saw Arsenal leap back into fourth place in the Premier League, Emery took time to state the importance of taking it game by game, while making sure to keep one eye on their top four rivals.

"I'm very proud of our supporters, they pushed us a lot and this is a big result and they created a big atmosphere for our players," Emery told Sky Sports.

"They [United] were in a good moment after one result against PSG but we had a big performance and we are in a good moment in the Premier League.

"To take three points and get a good position for our target is very good and I'm happy for the players.

"We can use different systems and different players and today we changed the system, after two matches away. For us it is very important that every supporter helps like they did today.

"Being competitive like today for 90 minutes can give us a stronger mentality. We are going to think of the next Premier League match, against Newcastle here but that is in three weeks and now our focus is the Europa League on Thursday.

"That is a very important match after what happened away [losing 3-1 to Rennes in the first leg]. I hope a lot of supporters come here and make the stadium full to create this atmosphere."

Chelsea missed out on the chance to assert themselves into the race for Champions League spots, drawing 1-1 with Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
