Sacked Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho had a warning for new Real chief  Zinedine Zidane and also claimed bossing in the Premier League is no longer the dream job

Mourinho was axed as Manchester United boss in December after losing his job twice at Chelsea.

He said: “Of course, the dream many years ago was especially to work in English football. It was culturally at that level where you would give a few years to the manager.

"Let the manager build the club in this image, then build the team and stay with that team for a long period of time.

"That tendency is to change more than before.”

Mourinho was in line for a Real reunion following the Spanish giants’ elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Ajax.

Skipper Sergio Ramos and other Real Madrid superstars are thought to have spoken out to help prevent Jose Mourinho returning for a second spell in charge

But captain Sergio Ramos and other Real stars are claimed to have persuaded chiefs at the Bernabeu against the reappointment.

French legend Zidane returned to his old club instead this week.

But Mourinho warned: “The people think that you can do what you did before. They will want more. That’s a little bit of the pressure.

“His [Zidane’s] last team were playing together for years under experienced managers and then you had his touch and know-how.

"And what is quite curious is that now he has to build a team.

"When I went to Chelsea again, I went with that responsibility of, ‘I have to win the Premier League again’.

"He has this fantastic feeling and he got amazing results. But this time it’s a different challenge.”

Real have agreed to sign Brazilian defender Eder Militao, 21, from Porto for £45million.
