Wolves vs Manchester United - Defensive dilemma for Nuno
Posted Saturday, March 16, 2019 by PA
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo faces a selection dilemma in defence ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester United.
Ryan Bennett is suspended in the Premier League but available in the FA Cup. Romain Saiss played against Chelsea in the draw at Stamford Bridge so Nuno must decide whether or not he brings Bennett back into the team.
John Ruddy will replace Rui Patricio in goal, as he has done in all the cup ties this season.
Romelu Lukaku will have a foot issue assessed for United.
The forward is a doubt for a match that Ashley Young will miss through suspension, with Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian also sidelined.
Phil Jones is back after five weeks out through illness while Jesse Lingard and Ander Herrera have been training after missing recent games with hamstring issues. Mason Greenwood will be assessed after illness.
